A coordinated effort by conservative politicians, media and mayors is attempting to tar OWS as dirty, dangerous hippies with no coherent message. That's what makes the media so important: will they focus only where the flashing lights and drama are - or follow the movement-building work the OWS is also doing - in court-rooms, foreclosure sites, workplaces and Board of Education meetings?
