The Public Broadcasting Corporation spends about $4.5 million on producing programming. The BBC spends more like $6 billion. Why? Because the BBC has an independent source of financing. If we don't find an independent source of funding [for public broadcasting] "The screens are going to go dark" says veteran broadcaster and author Bill Moyers in this conversation with Laura Flanders of GRITtv.
