I am a retired teacher, having taught in an innercity for 35 yrs. We have been testing so much that the children are losing so much instructional time. We test them the minute they get back to school ( what a way to get them excited about learning!). The students who receive Sp.Ed services and are behind grade levewl, have to take the test on grade level, can't do it, are embarassed, and act out during this testing time.
