Most Freedom Flotilla survivors describe how Israeli Defense Force treated the activists aboard the Freedom Flotilla as an appalling act of piracy, but if one gets their news from the mass media, like many Americans, they would think otherwise. The Israeli PR machine has done everything possible to portray themselves as the victims of an attack by activists armed with “clubs” and “knives;” however, secret video chips have circulated images of activists using their Gaza-bound humanitarian aid to administer medical assistance to Israeli commandos wounded by their own aggressive assault. Despite what may seem obvious about a battle on the high seas pitting Israeli commandos against weaponless activists, the Israeli PR machine is destroying activsts’ cameras and recording equipment in order to manipulate the events in their favor.
Retired U.S Military Colonel and U.S. State Department Official, now anti-war activist and Freedom Flotilla survivor Ann Wright joins us in studio to give us a first hand account of what really happened during the Freedom Flotilla raid.

They’re so used to thinking they can get away with this kind of lying to the very people who pay the taxes, and when they claim to be democracies. They are more like Fascist war economies run by hidden plutocrats stirring up the violence on the ground because that means years more profits! The Israeli spin on the pictures published in Turkey is that they show the passengers were terrorists.
This is ironic given that what they actually a doctor treating downed IDF soldiers.

One would like to know — but it is probably impossible — if any of the Israeli commandos were injured by “friendly fire”. We are looking at a melée going on in the dark of night.

If Rahm Emanunel was in Israel prior to the piracy he brought the approval of his patsy, Obama, and the State Department with him. Of course, the method of the attach was probably not explained to Obama. Emanuel seems to me a spy for the Mossad in the best possible position to inform Israel of every event in the US. The US, we, us, tacitly approve of Israel’s persistent provocations of war in the Middle East and have done so since the Nakba in 1948. Will the Gaza Gulag every end?–not until we stop sending billions.

God bless you Ann Wright for representing the honourable face of America that has not lost its sense of decency or humanity . Also thank you Laura Flanders for not being afraid to give Col. Wright a platform to speak out against the callousness and criminality of Israel’s military thugs whilst the so called main stream media (whose audiences are the bigoted and/or ignorant) have systematically relayed Israeli lies and propaganda on what really happened to the gallant humanitarians assaulted/murdered/wounded on the high seas!
