While the world focused on the Freedom Flotilla and the BP oil still pouring into the Gulf, activists from around the U.S. converged in Arizona to protest the state's recent anti-immigrant legislation this past weekend. Recent GRITtv guest Marco Amador was there and sent us this report.

well, we do have a problem, right? so, if one way is the wrong way, then what is right? if side “A” suggested a option and side “B” doesnt like it, then lets hear side “B” and like a democratic country would do is vote on it. fair is fair.
although there are guidelines that must make sense on both sides in order for the minds to meet and agree
we all agree that all must register in this country
all must follow tax laws
all caught without certification, required of an american citizen are subject to deportation,
as a equal opportunity country, as long as they are not felons. the govt will aid this individual
and show them the way to citizenship and laws.
a deadline should be appointed for registration and all border arrived people must come to the
immigratioin office and legally register. all new residents will need proof of 1-year residence to
qualify for medical, legal,subsistence,…….etc. of course a clean record is required.
there is more to consider, this is just a path to consider to solve this problem, i wish i could be
employed to do this. but something must be done, you know it and i know it, we all know it.
this cannot continue too much longer or we loose control of this country and we will become
3rd world. now who wants that?
