Good guy, not holding much back. He takes them to task for coddling Israel, and is right about the Coffee Party. It’s dumb. On the one hand, they are unafraid to be an obvious rip-off of the Tea Party movement, a movement which used left street tactics (though funded by big money) but used its own language and themes. On the other, they say crap like “We’re not liberal or progressive, we’re American”. The Tea Party is openly and avowedly ‘Conservative’, but the Coffee Party can’t admit to what is claimed to be its foil? No, because they let their conservative opponents turn ‘liberal’ and ‘progressive’ into dirty words. Trying to prove how moderate and patriotic you are is a losing strategy for progressives.
