Got Docs? The Pass It On Project
Two teachers at a Brooklyn middle school, frustrated with a lack of social-justice education in public schools, founded the Pass it On Project to engage their students, mostly black and Latino, around issues of race and the civil rights movement. They ended up taking a road trip through the South, visiting historic sites and learning from leaders from the civil rights era.
The Pass It On Project is a feature documentary about that experience.
