Yes, Lou Dobbs is an arrogant man, but, the show today was lacking any serious discussion about immigration and its coverage on CNN and Lou Dobbs. Normally, Grit TV is an informative show and Laura Flanders asks good, hard-hitting questions. But, today Laura Flanders handled her guests with kid gloves. Interviewing people, where the discussion is about Lou Dobbs, whom don't watch his show and/or refuse to appear on his show was inexcusable. Narrowing down these guests hatred towards Lou Dobbs to a couple of out of context quotes is bad journalism. Watching Grit TV I want to be informed so I can make my own decisions, this show did not help.

"This country"?
Excuse me, but the last time that I looked statehood still had not been imposed on Puerto Rico through those ever so "democratic" circuses that they call "elections". As such Puerto Rico is still capable of freeing itself from its babylonian captivity under that Empire of lies and the hypocrite republic on which it stands whose name I would prefer to never hear again.
It is high time that the issues and events that beset Puerto Rico be spoken of in terms true to the condition of that island nation as a separate people with profound sense of distinctiveness in being. And this not only entails acknowledging that the Puerto Rican people address the world in Spanish and not English, but also that Puerto Rico is in itself a distinct national Being. If one fails to do this and limits oneself instead to attempting to explain events in Puerto Rico solely in terms of discourse on "the mainland", or even the oppression of "latinos" in the mainland one fails dismally to understand the real nature of what is transpiring in the island nation.
The policies -no, malicious attitude- of thegovernment now in power in Puerto RIco all stem from the ideological letrine of the Statehood party which values only those institutions created in the mind's eye -for want of a better phrase- of the United States political class -Democrats as well as Republicans- to the exclusion of all else as redoubts of Autonomism or Associationism as forms of quasi Independentism. Their objective is thus merely to honor their northern masters in true neophyte style. This is the true danger of this governor or any of his cohorts. They will destroy Puerto Rico and its people merely because in their colonized minds anything that is not an ABC television rendition of the United States is either backward or simply "illegal" and must be expunged. So much for Democracy or Freedom. No matter everything can be solved with the magic of cultural plastic surgery capable of transforming anyone into a replicant of George Bush, Mrs Clinton or even Obama for enough cash.
