While President Obama's declared an end date for Americans in the Iraq war, will it ever be that simple for Iraqis? We talk to Yanar Mohammed, President of the Organization of Women's Freedom in Iraqand Yifat Susskind, communications director at MADRE who are helping women survive in the mess that is today's Iraq.







The underground for women is a great idea. But if we are ever going to correct the injustice done to women throughout the Middle East, it has to start by exposing Islam for what it is. How can you fix the womens problem when the whole area operates via some form of corruption which has been going on for hundreds of years.
What opened up Russia and China to change was the media, television and radio. Iraqie people for the first time are enjoying music from all parts of the world and seeing stuff that they were made blind to see under Sadam.
