In 2007, video reporters in Burma captured stunning footage of Buddhist monks marching to protest the military regime. Working under cover their material is smuggled out of the country and broadcast back into Burma via satellite. In Burma VJ Anders Østergaard brings together some of this footage for a glimpse into the work of journalists and dissidents in a police state. The film opens this week in New York.
