Chopra has some good ideas, and maybe he is late to the cause of progressive politics, but so am I, it takes some of us longer to grow up and see the reality of the world.

The last thing the rational progressive netroots needs is to be associated with anti-science and pseudoscience like the woo peddled by Deepak Chopra, Sylvia Browne, and other assorted astrologers and kooks.</p> <p>President Obama has rightly embraced a newly science-friendly outlook on the world. Let’s not undermine those efforts by giving a megaphone to <a href="http://scienceblogs.com/insolence/2007/06/deepak_chopras_wooful_whine.php" rel="nofollow">irrationality</a> under the guise of our big tent.</p> Gaaah, please no. Why did he not voice his concerns during the Bush Regime regarding the u.s. military industry, the use of waterboarding (torture), illegal renditions, the treatment of prisons at gitmo, the lack of public aid in the aftermath of katrina or, the lack of public aid in the housing crisis.
