As congress convened for their first day of business last week, activists urging an end to the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan marched on Washington. Voters have since 2006 urged congress to end the wars and, not only are they continuing, but they have in many ways disappeared from the national dialogue. The message from the Activist Response Team: end the terror of war, get out of Iraq and Afghanistan, stay out of Iran and Pakistan, and end U.S. arms sales and diplomatic policies that have allowed for Israel's assault on Gaza.
