Karl Rove has managed to avoid answering questions on his role in the dismissal of US attorneys back in 2007. He has also been mum on the Valerie Plame affair, not to mention the distortion of intelligence in the run up to the invasion of Iraq.

The House Judiciary Committee, however, recently voted to hold Rove in contempt of Congress. But that doesn't mean he's planning to show up anytime soon. He's already dodged two subpoenas and in a recent interview on Fox News, where he's also a commentator, Rove called the vote "ludicrous."
