Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac aren’t exactly just private corporations. They have a psedo-governmental role, and a unique role in the American housing market. If they were to fail, housing prices would increase, drastically and radically. The government has to intervene in some way.

Now, the question shouldn’t be about a bailout, it should be about why these corporations that serve a role that approaches on the regulatory shouldn’t be nationalized if they are going to fail.

which is because the MSM consists mostly of people who would rather repeat the lie rather than go out and find out what is really going on. People who ask a question, and get back a nonsensical answer, yet do not demand a real answer, but go right to the next question. Who, if they get a real answer to a serious question, never ask a follow up, but go right on to the next question on the page. Those who ask ambush questions, yet think they are real journalists, are just media hacks. And yes, I am talking about timmah-tim russert.and all those in the MSM who copy his style totally. Even tho when he died everyone talked about him as if he were a saint. I don’t. He was a hack. Testimoney in the Libby trial only confirmed it. The VP always wanted to go on MTP when he had something that would not stand up to real questions.
