If there's a more charming sight than five Black cowboys riding down the mean streets of Brooklyn, we have yet to see it. The Federation of Black Cowboys film directed by Eric Martz is playing as part of the Afro-Punk Festival at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.

The Federation’s 26-acre farm in Howard Beach, Brooklyn is an effort in historic preservation in an unlikely setting. The cowboys keep the western faith and pass valuable lessons on to the next generation. Here's a short clip from the film - they are magnificent.
